My First Post

Hello world, this is my first post, I have been teaching students for a while already and I thought of building my Blog once and for all.
I have a lot to say about teaching teenagers and adults, and I also have many stories to tell. For now, I will be adding entries about topics related to the Oposiciones in Comunidad Valenciana, since that is all that matters to me lately. I have discovered that teachers do not only teach grammar, but also culture, history and literature from the English-speaking countries, and I have come to love that part of the teaching a way lot more than discourse, register and grammar.

Currently, I am studying the Industrial Revolution, which has a lot to do with suffering, child labour, revolutionary inventions, Charles Dickens, global commerce, the telephone, the queen Victoria, importation and exportation, etc. I still need to dig in more into the topic so I can tell my readers more deeply about it.

Anyways, just writing about this has motivated me to continue reading this topic, which by the way is topic 47. So, without any further delay, see you in the next post. I am attaching a picture of  the telephone, invented by Alexander Graham Bell (US) in 1876, event which, by the way, occured during the Industrial Revolution.  Spoiler alert, it has nothing to do compared to nowadays new phones, this one made much more sense.
